The museum is a set of "education" and "exhibition","collection" and other functions as one of the cultural complex.With the development of the times,it is necessary to design the visual image of the museum.The visual image design of the museum is still relatively backward in our country.Only a few national level museums have perfect visual system.The visual image design of other museums are still in the stage of logo design.Through the analysis and Research on the present situation of China's Museum visual image design,this paper summarizes the design principles and methods of the visual image design of the geological museum,and concludes that the design principles of the visual image of the museum should have: and international.Design method: from the perspective of the logo,color,font and application system to analyze the design of the visual image of the museum.Taking the Chinese Geological Museum as an example,this paper studies the existing visual image,analyzes its advantages and disadvantages,and puts forward the reform plan.In the premise of following the above design principles and methods,a new set of visual image system,which is of innovative significance,is designed to help the Chinese geological museum.
