Foreign Language Research In Chinese Korean Newspapers And Periodicals

Language can reflect changes in social structure,and these changes in language reflect the characteristics of different times and cultures.In modern society,frequent exchanges between countries increase the chances of cultural contacts.Therefore,Influenced by foreign languages and cultures,foreign words existing in a given national language emerge and increase rapidly.Korea has ever been a country that keeps a closecontact with other different countries so that it is deeply influenced by foreign cultures,which leads to the emergence of a wide range of foreign words.With the development of mass media such as Internet,radio,newspapers and that,people are accessible to diverse channels for learning languages.Newspapers,as a news medium to record and disseminate social events,exert an enormous influence on the national language use.Furthermore,the contents covered in the newspapers need to be standardized,which is to some extent favorable to the understanding of linguistic features of foreign words.So the paper takes the foreign words of Korean newspapers published in China as the research objec to investigate and analyze the foreign words of different fields,parts of speech,sources and even their forms,and finally to find out the problems in the use of foreign words in newspapers and give some proposals for improvement.In the meanwhile,by pointing out the necessity of using foreign words correctly,proposing some improvement plans,and eliminating the inherent problems in their use,it will be of great help to the purification of foreign words used in newspapers.
