| Contract Documents is a valuable material for language studies. Its value for language study, especially for vocabulary research, not only reflected in the wealth of information and a strong oral, but also in its stylistic features. The ancient Contract Documents as an application documents, the contents of elements, structure, expression language has a great consistency, even when expressed in a fundamental sense often use immobilized, stylized phrase or sentence, which we called Tao Yu (??). This paper explores its research value of lexicology.Firstly,The article explains the definition, characteristics, causes, types and other issues of Contract Documents'Tao Yu (??), and initially reveals its inherent lexicology study value. Secondly, based on the study of Contract Documents'Tao Yu (??), the value of Contract Documents' Tao Yu (??) in lexicology reflecting from four aspects, that is explaining meaning, discriminating synonyms, reflecting the new words and new meanings, drawing the turnover of the vocabulary.For exploring words meaning, since the contract documents are often interchange different words for the same meaning, using Tao Yu (??) to class them together, we can inquire unknown meaning from known meaning. This is a new angle for explaining meaning of words. For discriminating synonymous words, Synonyms extracted from Tao Yu (??) revert to different Tao Yu (??) can help understand the nuances between words. For reflecting neologism, because Synonyms in the same Tao Yu(??) have a strong systemic, the way of producing new words, besides along with something new things, are from dialects or analogy from the other composition. As for the new meaning, in addition to the semantic extension, the more is the context analogy. For outlining vocabulary lasted replacement, combined with specific time of writing documents, we can clearly see the replacement of words in the history by setting the Tao Yu (??) as an observation window. However, because of influence of the model text and other classical Chinese words, vocabulary in the Tao Yu (??) with a certain lag. Some words which used in the Tao Yu (??) has been replaced by another one in the literature, but it still remains in Tao Yu (??). |
