Ancient Contract Documents Mediator Who Appellations Of Evolution

Contract documents are original written agreements or word recognition which are formed in the human specific production, life, social interaction and other relationships and are used to prove certain relationship, and they have history, economics, jurisprudence, linguistics, sociology, philosophy, folklore and other disciplines research value. The research on the vocabulary of contract documents is a part of Chinese vocabulary history study. The former achievements in contract document research have always been the synchronic plane’s research that is carried out from a certain region or a certain period of vocabulary. But there are few researches on the ancient contract document vocabulary evolution carried out from the perspective of diachronic and there are also few researches on similar studies in the history of Chinese vocabulary.From the perspective of linguistics and according to the modern theory of semantic field, this thesis investigates the diachronic evolution of mediator appellation words at the end of ancient contract documents.This thesis consists of four chapters.The first chapter is the introduction. It analyzes the basic elements and characteristics of ancient contract documents, introduces the research status of contract documents, explained the research value of mediator appellation words in ancient contract documents, the research methods, difficulties and inadequacies.The second chapter is synchronic investigation of the mediator appellation words in ancient contract documents. From Western Han Dynasty to Qing Dynasty, the mediator appellation words at the end of the ancient contract documents are listed one by one, combined with the other handed down from the ancient times to confirm these terms. The purpose of this chapter is to start with meaning and to clarify the origin and meaning of the mediator appellation words.The third chapter analyzes the mediator appellation words on the basis of the interpretation of the words in last chapter. It also analyzes the evolution and development, the reason of evolution, and points out the word formation characters of the mediator appellation words at the end of the contract documents from the aspects of syntax structure, this author draws several rules of evolution and development of some words. The last chapter is the conclusion. Based on organizing and investigating the mediator appellation words at the end of the contract documents, the author summarizes the characteristics and laws of development of diachronic evolution. From the perspective of lexical meanings, the meaning of the mediator appellation words is from instability to relative stability and its basic meaning is constant. Through the study of this thesis, the following contents can be gained:the first one is system specifications of contract documents of ancient Chinese mediator appellation words. The second is supplement of research on Chinese vocabulary history.
