Objective To investigate the nutritional status of students in a vocational school in Laiyang,and to investigate the snack food consumption,the eating habits and health consciousness,so as to improve the physical quality.Methods The research object was selected from 985 secondary vocational school students in Laiyang City.Using 24-hour dietary review method survey to measure the students' dietary intake.The dietary behaviors were assessed by dietary behavior scale.Using BMI(Body Mass Index)and Rohrer index to measure the students' nutritional status.When BMI was less than 18.5,it was defined as partial thin.Between 18.5 and 23.99 is defined as normal.When BMI was defined as being overweight between 24 and 28.When BMI was greater than or equal to 28,it is defined as obese.For young people,it was more accurate to evaluate the nutritional status through the Rohrer index.When the Rohrer index was greater than 156,it was defined as excessive obesity.When the Rohrer index was defined as obesity between 156 and 140.When the Rohrer index was between 140 and 109,it was defined as medium.When the Rohrer index was between 109 and 92,it was defined as thin.When the Rohrer index was less than 92,it was defined as excessive lean.Using NAR(Nutrient Adequacy Ratio)to evaluate dietary nutrient intake levels.When the NAR was less than 0.8,it was defined as insufficient nutrient intake.When NAR was between 0.8 and 1.2,it was defined as appropriate.When NAR was greater than 1.2,it was defined as high nutrient intake.In addition to investigate the snack situation,the eating habits and health consciousness,etc.Results 1.The nutrition aspect: According to BMI,23.86% of the people were too thin.Through evaluate the Rohrer index,18.58% of the people were thin.2.The nutrient supply ratio: The ratio of protein energy supply was high,and the percentage of the students being tested was 35.74%.The ratio of fat energy supply was low,and the percentage of the tested students was 26.90%.The ratio of carbohydrate energy supply was high,and the percentage of the students being tested was 36.35%.3.The intake of nutrients: The intake of many nutrients of the students being measured were inadequate,such as Vitamin C,Vitamin A,Vitamin B1(Thiamine),Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin),Calcium,Potassium and Selenium,especially Vitamin A and Calcium.NAR value of Calcium in the boys and girls groups were 0.25 and 0.38,respectively.NAR value of vitamin A in the boys and girls groups were 0.27 and 0.47,respectively.There was no significant difference between the boys and girls groups in various nutrients intake.4.Eating habits: The proportion of girls who often ate fried or barbecue food was up to 23.15%.The percentage of smoking in boys and girls groups were 15.21% and 22.19%,respectively.The percentage of the people who smoke every day in boys and girls groups were 4.56% and 4.25%,respectively.5.Midnight snack and snacks: In each group,the most choices of midnight snack was fruit.About the choice of snacks,the students in each group chose most was the puffed food.The proportions of boys and girls were 72.19% and 68.82%,respectively.In each group,the preferred choice for the students was juice.The proportions of boys and girls groups were 65.02% and 66.30%,respectively.6.Health consciousness: In each group,only about 30% of the students would concern the health problem when they were in the physical discomfort.In addition,only 12% of people would never pay attention to diet health.The percentage of people who had serious partiality for a particular kind of foods,the girls group was higher than the boys group,24.25% and 18.25%,respectively.Conclusion The tested students' dietary status was undernutrition.There was unreasonable proportions of the energy supply among carbohydrates,fats and protein.The intake levels of a kinds of vitamins and minerals were not enough,especially Vitamin A and Calcium.The dining environment was not good.Food choices was not reasonable.Students did not have good eating habits and lack of nutrition knowledge.Objective To investigate the psychological and behavior symptoms of students in a vocational school in Laiyang,and to master the mental health status of the students on the whole.We will screen for psychological problems and identify the students who need attention,and carry on the guidance timely.Methods The research students were selected from 988 vocational school in Laiyang City,using SCL(Self-reporting Inventory)to evaluate the psychological status.The positive rate was determined by the total score and the positive item number.When the total score was greater than 160 points or when the number of positive items was more than 43,that should be considered as positive.The distribution of symptoms were determined by the factor score.When any factor was greater than 2,it was also considered as positive.In terms of depressive symptoms,the positive rate of boys group was 22.61%,and the positive rate of girls group was 32.87%.The positive rate of anxiety symptoms in boys and girls group were 34.11% and 24.52%,respectively.Results 1.Total score and positive item number: There were 400 students whose total score was more than 160.There were 470 students whose positive item number were more than 43.The positive rate of girls group was higher than that of boys group,that was 42.92% and 49.24%,respectively.2.Factor scores: In the item of the factor score was greater than 2,the number of interpersonal sensitivity symptoms was the most,which was up to 388,accounted for 39.27% of the total number.Among various factors,the positive rate of girls group was higher than that of boys group,especially in depression symptoms and anxiety symptoms.3.Norm comparison results: In items of various factor score,we could find that the factor scores of the tested students were higher than those of the Chinese norm and the Chinese Youth norm.There was significant difference.In terms of somatic symptoms,anxiety symptoms and hostility symptoms,the factors scores of the tested students were higher than those of the students in parts of the national average level.In terms of obsessive-compulsive symptoms,paranoid symptoms and psychotic symptoms,the factors scores of the tested students were lower than those of the students in parts of the national average level.There was significant difference.4.Comparison between groups: In items of various factors,in anxiety symptoms,psychosis symptoms and other symptoms aspects,girls group were significantly higher than boys,there were significant differences in the two groups.Conclusion The overall psychological condition of the tested students was poor,the positive rate was high.In terms of somatic symptoms,anxiety symptoms and hostility symptoms,the psychological state of the tested students were worse than those of the students in some parts of the whole country.In anxiety symptoms,psychosis symptoms and other symptoms aspects,the psychological status of girls group was significantly worse than that of boys.
