Research BackgroundChildhood and adolescence are the critical periods of growth and development,malnutrition has negative impact on both physical and cognitive development,which will cause physical weakness,labor ability reduction,low income and even lead to poverty.Poverty will further deteriorate their nutritional status,which in turn to form a vicious circle between malnutrition and poverty.The nutritional status of children is an important indicator of the socio-economic development of a country.From an economic point of view,inadequate intake of nutrients and trace elements can lead to a variety of diseases,decreased immunity,the impact of intellectual development and labor capacity,these direct losses are estimated to account for about 2-3%of global gross domestic product,According to the World Health Organization study,if the problem of child malnutrition can be resolved,you can reduce the burden of developing countries 1/3 of the disease."2016 Global Nutrition Report" also pointed out:due to malnutrition,Africa and Asia can be lost 11%of GDP per year,the annual global GDP loss is more than the 2008-2010 financial crisis.“Double burden”is exist as the other developing countries due to the different regional,population and level of economic status,and this causes the increase of medical cost in China.Malnutrition is preventable and controllable,currently,many countries have formulated the nutrition policy for the primary and secondary school students,and also have gained many experiences during implementing the revelent interventions.Our country can take example from them in order to further improve the nutritional status of children,and also to promote economic and social sustainable development.Research ObjectiveThis paper studies the relevant nutrition policies in the following aspects:school meal,student milk,junk food in school,children food advertistment,nutrition and health eduationResearch MethodThis research was done mainly by literature research method.The databases used in this study include the main domestic health policy research databases,CNKI,Wan Fang,and CQVIP.Other countries' policy research was maily through their government official websites,Google Scholar,PubMed,Springer Link,Science Direct,ProQuest database International organization policy was maily through their official website.Research ResultsIn order to ensure the implementation of nutrition meals,most of the national government departments are specialized legislation,made specific requirements for school lunch.Most government participation in the student milk program,and the government plays an important role in providing financial subsidies,legislation and guidelines.The successful implementation of the student's milk comes from the government's financial support.A lot of countries that currently regulate the sale of unhealthy food on campus are developed countries.Some countries only provide guidance,some countries prohibit the sale of unhealthy food.Different countries has differernt regulatory,some countries do not allow students to eat junk food in school,and some countries probibit junk food sale in school.Western developed countries for primary and secondary school children's food advertising regulatory regulations are more mature.For primary and secondary school students to regulate food advertising mostly alcohol products,some countries involved in high-fat high-sugar foods and other unhealthy food.Some countries are aware of the importance of nutrition and health education for children and adolescents and the inclusion of nutrition and health education courses in general curricula.ConclusionThrough the comprehensive analysis and comparison of primary and secondary school students' nutrition policy and interventions,the results were founded:1 there was lack of nutrition regulations and management systems for children and adolescents in China.2 the system for primary and secondary school students' s nutritional meals and offered milk was not completed,and it was still in the trial stage.3 there was no regulatory system for the sale of junk food on campus;there are no specific regulations on food advertisments for children.4 health education was not included in the general education curriculum in both primary and secondary school,the education about nutrition and healthy diet for primary and secondary school students was not enough.
