Purpose:To investigate the characteristics of ulcerative colitis(UC)in patients with ulcerative colitis(UC)treated by Department of Gastroenterology,Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in recent 5 years. The aim of this study was to explore the characteristics of this disease and the characteristics of TCM syndromes,And the statistical prescription of high-frequency drugs, hope to further improve the understanding of the disease and the level of diagnosis and treatment help for the future development of ulcerative colitis to provide an objective basis for the study.Material and method:The age, sex, morbidity, course of disease, onset season, disease staging, lesion range, disease age,and pathology of 78 patients with UC were treated by Department of Gastroenterology,Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December 2011 to October 2016.TCM syndromes were analyzed retrospectively. The relationship between TCM syndromes and gender, age, course of disease, time of onset and severity of TCM was analyzed.SPSS 17.0 statistical software was used for statistical analysis,chi-square test,P <0.05.05 that the difference was statistically significant. Results: 1.There were 78 patients(44.4%)and 34 females(43.6%),the ratio of male to female was 1.29: 1;the minimum age of onset was 18 years old,the maximum age For the 73-year-old,the average age of 47.01 ± 12.23,the incidence concentrated in the 40-69 years old, accounting for 61.5% of the total number of cases;the shortest duration of 4 days, the longest 27 years to the course of 1-5 years, the largest number of patients(38 cases,Accounting for 48.7%);the incidence of the season to the highest incidence of winter and summer.2.There were 22 cases(28.2%)of the total incidence of ulcerative colitis, including 7 cases(9.0%)of dietary factors,4 cases of emotional factors(5.1%),4 cases of exertion(9.0%),,Exogenous factors in 7 cases(5.1%),no obvious incentive for patients with 56 cases(71.8%).3.Of the 78 patients,17 had no colonoscopy, and the other patients showed that 12 patients had lesions in the rectum,10 patients had a straight sigmoid colon,20 had a lesion involving the whole colon, and 3 had a lesion Extensive colon,5 patients with lesions of the left half of the colon,11 patients with regional colon involvement; The severity of the disease was mildly and moderately. The mild involvement of the rectum was moderate, and the moderate and severe were all affected by colonic involvement. The chi-square test was performed with P <0.05,which indicated that the lesion and clinical The severity of the disease is closely related.7 cases(9.0%)of early onset,66 cases(85.9%)of chronic recurrent,4 cases of chronic persistent(5.1%),Outbreak type.4.The distribution of TCM syndrome differentiation is as follows: 29 cases of intestinal damp-heat syndrome, accounting for 37.2%,3 cases of spleen and stomach qi deficiency, accounting for 10.3%,3 cases of spleen and kidney yang deficiency,3.8%,5 cases of liver depression and spleen deficiency 6.4%,Yinxue deficiency syndrome in 5 cases, accounting for 6.4%,2 cases of blood stasis intestinal syndrome, accounting for 2.6%,21 cases of cold and heat syndrome, accounting for 26.9%,spleen deficiency in five cases, accounting for 6.4% The frequency of followed by: large intestine damp heat syndrome> cold and heat syndrome> spleen and stomach qi deficiency> liver and spleen deficiency syndrome,Yin and blood deficiency syndrome, spleen deficiency syndrome> blood stasis intestinal syndrome.5.In 78 cases of hospitalized patients,a total of 78 prescriptions were used, involving 103 flavors of traditional Chinese medicine, the total frequency of traditional Chinese medicine was 1037.The main types of high-frequency drugs in the frequency of the top ten as follows:(1)29 cases of large intestine damp-heat syndrome,a total of 394 Chinese medicine, the top ten high-frequency drugs were: Coptis,Scutellaria, white peony, angelica,In the 21 cases of temper weakness card,a total of 284 times the use of traditional Chinese medicine, the top ten high-frequency drugs were: licorice,Poria, white peony root, berberine,Atractylodes,Atractylodes macrocephala,,In the 8 cases of spleen and stomach Qi deficiency,a total of 168 times the use of traditional Chinese medicine, the top ten high-frequency drugs were: Coptis,Coix Seed, licorice,Atractylodes, white Peony, woody, gruel, astragalus, poria, codonopsis. Conclusion: 1.The incidence of men and women in this study was 1.29: 1,men were more than women, the incidence was concentrated in the 40-69 years old, diet, exogenous, emotional and fatigue and other factors Occurrence of close relationship, the highest incidence of winter and summer.2.The clinical type of chronic recurrence, mainly to the course of 1 to 5 years, the largest number of patients.3.In the study of the severity of the disease to mild to moderate more common, the lesion involving the rectum or the whole colon.4.Damp heat syndrome and cold and heat syndrome is the most common.5.High-frequency drugs are: Coptis,Scutellaria, white peony,Atractylodes, woody,Poria,Angelica,Panax,Sophora japonica, licorice. On the clinical treatment of UC has a guiding significance.
