| Objective:The aim of this study is to observe the clinical effect of Jiawei Xianfang huoming Decoction on the acne of damp-heat syndrome and observe the effect on the levels of serum Th1 and Th2 cytokines IL-4 and IFN-? in acne patients with this ty pe of syndrome,and to explore its immunological mechanism.Methods:In this study,63 patients with acne of damp-heat syndrome were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.At the same time included 20 norma l healthy people as a normal group who had a physical examination in our hosipital,r ecorded their gender,age,occupation,contact and other general situation.Acne patient s should also record the shape and number of rash,with or without swelling,coating on the tongue,pulse condition and other clinical symptoms.The treatment group was tre ated with Jiawei Xianfanghuomin decoction,2 times a day,the course of treatment wa s 28 days;The control group was treated with tanshinone capsules orally,3 times a da y,each time 4 tablets,the course of treatment was the same as 28 days;The skin lesi on score,syndrome score,and comprehensive score of the treatment group and the con trol group were calculated before and after treatment.And then according to the above scores to evaluate each clinical efficacy.IL-4 and IFN-levels in normal group were d etected by ELISA method.The levels of serum IL-4 and IFN-were detected before an d after treatment in the treatment group.Results:1.The skin lesion score,syndrome score and comprehensive score of the tre atment group and the control group were statistical analysised before and after treatme nt.The difference within group was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.(1)Comprehensive efficacy of the treatment group:the cure rate:0%,marked improv ement rate:16.1%,effective rate:71%,inefficiency rate:12.9%,the total effective rate:87.1%;(2)Comprehensive efficacy of the control group:the cure rate:0%,marked impr ovement rate:3.1%,effective rate:65.6%,inefficiency rate:31.3%,the total effective ra te:68.7%,the difference between the 2 groups was statistically significant(P<0.05)3.(1)skin lesions' clinical efficacy of the treatment group:cure rate:0%,marked improv ement rate:22.6%,effective rate:61.3%,inefficiency rate:16.1%,the total effective rate:83.9%;(2)skin lesions' clinical efficacy of the control group:cure rate:0%,marked improve ment rate:12.5%,effective rate:56.3%,inefficiency rate:31.3%,the total effective rate:68.8%;the difference between the 2 groups was not significant(P>0.05)4.syndrome efficacy of the treatment group:cure rate:16.1%,marked improvement rate:12.9%,effective rate:29.0%,inefficiency rate:41.9%,the total effective rate:58.1%;(2)syndro me efficacy of the control group:cure rate:0%,marked improvement rate:9.4%,effective r ate:25.0%,inefficiency rate:65.6%,the total effective rate:34.3%;the difference between th e 2 groups was statistically significant(P<0.05)5.The levels of serum IL-4 and IFN-were detected in normal group and the treatm ent group before treating,the difference between the 2 groups was statistically signific ant(P<0.01)6.Serum levels of IL-4 and IFN-? were detected before and after treatment in the tr eatment group,The difference within group was statistically significant(P<0.01)Conclusion:1.Compared with the tanshinone capsule,Jiawei Xianfanghuomin decoct ion has a better comprehensive efficacy and syndrome efficacy in terms of treating the damp heat syndrome acne,however,the efficacy of skin lesion are equivalent.2.there exist a type Th1/Th2 cytokine imbalance in patients' serum with damp h eat syndrome of acne,compared with healthy people,they showed higher IL-4 levels a nd lower levels of IFN-?.3.After oral administration of Jiawei Xianfanghuoming drink,the serum IL-4 level was significantly lower and the level of IFN-was significantly increased.One of its m echanisms of treatment may be achieved by regulating cell and humoral immune balance. |
