A Clinical Study On The Combination Of Scrapping With Acupuncture For Damp-heat Acne

PurposeBy observing the overall curative effect and the improvement of acne lesions and TCM symptoms before and after this research to discover whether the scrapping combined with acupuncture or the union needle therapy treatment is a more efficient way to cure acen in damp-heat syndrome. After that, explore a way which is eutherapeuti、long-lasting effective、less economic input, low recurrence rate.MethodsPatients were randomly divided into two groups which is treatment group and control group, each group of 33 cases. At first, patients who has mature cysts and pustules in his face would given a local treatment. The treatment group ueses the acupuncture therapy combined with scrapping,the main acupoints is LI11、ST36、BL25、CV12、S25、SP15、ST34、SP9、CV4.The control group adopts acupuncture, and the points chosesg GV4、LI11、LI4、ST44、SI18、 SP9、GB14、ST36、SP6。 The treatment of crapping are one time every other 2 days, and acupuncture is given to patiens every other day. Observe both the differences of acne lesions integral and the constitution integration after 3 monthes, than established a database and analyzed the data with SPSS19.0.ResultsAfter 3 courses of the thearpy, the total effective rate of treatment group is 90.32%, and the control group is 76.67%, the difference has statistical significant (p<0.05). Both the improvement of acne lesions and TCM symptoms, the treatment group has a more significant effect than control group(p<0.05).ConclusionIn the treatment of damp-heat acne, the therapy combined scrapping with acupuncture can get a curative effect. Patients are speak highly to this therapy as there is no need to get to the hospital frequently which can save their time and energy.
