Objective:To study the clinical efficacy and safty of the fistulectomy combined with the retained skin bridge and drainage in treatment of the low hippocrepiform anal fistula.Methods:Fifty patients with the low hippocrepiform anal fistula which met the inclusion criteria, were randomly divided into treatment arm (n=25) which received the fistulectomy combined with the retained skin bridge and drainage and control arm (n=25) which received the several incision drainage. Observe the postoperative pain、 the bleeding of incision、 the urinary retention、 the length of incision healing time、 the size of the scar、 the intertion status of the incision、 the anal function and relapse rate in six months. Through all above, to analysis the clinical efficacy and safty of validation of the fistula incision combined with the retained skin bridge and drainage.Result:Treatment arm and control arm were all clinical cured,and no recurrence was found in follow-up during six months. There was no significant difference in the postoperative pain、 the bleeding of incision、 the urinary retention and the anal function (P>0.05). In the contrary,there was significant difference in the length of incision healing time、the size of the scar、 the intertion status of the incision (P<0.05), and treatment arm had better outcomes than the control arm in above aspects.Conclusion:The use of the fistulectomy combined with the retained skin bridge and drainage to treat the low hippocrepiform anal fistula effectively reduced postoperative incision wound, the size of postoperative scar, and shortened the time of incision healing. Meantime, it has a little effect in the anal function. the fistulectomy combined with the retained skin bridge and drainage to treat the low hippocrepiform anal fistula is safe, effective, worthy clinical application.
