| Objctive: To study the efficacy of “fistula dissection combined with floating seton drainage of sphincter†in the treatment of high anal fistula by comparing with the conventional procedure of “fistula incision thread drainage†in order to explore its clinical effects and security. Methods: 40 cases with high anal fistula were randomly divided into treatment group(n=20) and control group(n=20). The former was treated with “fistula dissection combined with floating seton drainage of sphincterâ€,while the latter underwent the conventional procedure of “fistula incision thread drainageâ€. To investigate the differences on cure rate, recurrence rate, wound healing, anal function, anorectal motility, postoperative complications and sequela.Result: There was no significant difference in the cure rate and urinary retention occurrence between two groups(P>0.05). There was significant difference regarding the pain of third day and seventh day(P<0.05),whereas the pain of fourteenth day showed no difference in thess groups(P>0.05). Which indicated that the patients in the treatment group experienced lighter pain than that of control group. There was significant difference in the aspects of wound healing, anal function and anorectal motility(P < 0.05). The treatment group was superior than the control group.Additionally,in the follow-up none of the two groups was reported to recur. Conclusion: Compared with the conventional procedure of “fistula incision thread drainage†in the treatment of high anal fistul,â€fistula dissection combined with floating seton drainage of sphincter†may has the advantanges such as milder pain, shorter healing time, better protection of anal function and better appearance of anus. |
