Professor Liu Ximing Treated 586 Cases Of Type 2 Diabetes Clinical Drug Analysis

Objective:Summarize Professor Liu Ximing's medication rules of type 2 diabetes and its complications from 586 type 2 diabetes clinical cases.Methods:1.Collect type 2 diabetes patients from Professor Liu Ximing' Outpatient medical records who met the inclusion criteria during January 1st,2014 and December 31,2014.2. Establishing a database by using Epidata 3.1 and describing the related information statistics with SPSS 16.0 software,and than mining correlation between drugs by association rules.Results:1. General information:There are 295 male cases and 291 female cases, male to female ratio is 1.01:1.The mean age of clinical cases is 54.44±8.12, and most patients are distributed between 41 to 70.The mean duration is 8.83±2.09 years. Among all the cases, 31.06% patients combined with high blood pressure, dyslipidemia 21.84% patients combined with dyslipidemia; 16.72% patiens complicated by peripheral neuropathy complication, 10.07% patients combined with diabetic nephropathy,8.53% patients complicated by diabetic retinopathy.2.Character of prescription:The average number of per prescription is 8.64±1.21, and the average dose of per prescription is 126.34±24.19g.3.Analysis of medication rules: The highest frequency 9 herbs are Salvia, Radix, Pinellia ginger, berberine, fried citrus aurantium, earthworm, Cyathula, dandelion, Eupolyphaga. Most of them have the effection of clearing away heat and resolving phlegm, promoting blood circulation to remove obstruction and relieving Qi Stagnancy.4. Medication Analysis of diabetic peripheral neuropathy:The highest frequency 9 herbs are earthworm, Eupolyphaga ginger Pinellia, Salvia, Cyathula, mulberry, orange network, Radix, sheet turmeric. Most of them have the effection of promoting blood circulation to remove obstruction.5. Medication Analysis of diabetic nephropathy:The highest frequency 9 herbs are Salvia, Astragalus, Radix, Polygonatum, Dioscorea, Cyathula, woodlouse, earthworm, littoralis. Most of them have the effection of tonifying Qi and nourishing Yin, and activating blood.6. Medication Analysis of diabetic retinopathy:The highest frequency 9 herbs are Salvia, Radix, chrysanthemum, berberine, earthworm, Ligustrum lucidum, white peony root, dandelion, yam. Most of them have the effection of clearing heat nourishing Yin and activating blood.7. Common drugs classification:The common used drugs can be classified in six categories.They are heat-clearing drugs, phlegm-resolving drugs, collateral-dredging drugs, Yin-nourishing drugs,blood-activating drugs, Qi-tonifying drugs.8. Common drug compatibility:We analysis the correlation of traditional Chinese Medicine which have more than 20% Confidence level and 2% support degree. The common compatibilities are heat-clearing drugs and phlegm-resolving drugs, Qi-tonifying drugs and Yin-nourishing drugs,blood-activating drugs and collateral-dredging drugs, blood-activating drugs and Yin-nourishing drugs. The compatibility confidence level of Astragalus and Ophiopogon, Polygonatum, littoralis is 52.7%,36.5%,30.0% respectively; The compatibility confidence level of berberine and ginger Pinellia, fried citrus aurantium, Trichosanthes, silkworm, Zhuru is 52.40%,49.40%, 34.30%,22.70%,21.90% respectively; The compatibility confidence level of Salvia and woodlouse, earthworm compatibility is 21.4%,21.1% respectively.Conclusions:1.There is no gender difference in type 2 diabetes incidence. The ratio of male to female is 1.01:1; The mean age of clinical cases is 54.44±8.12, and most patients are distributed between 41 to 70.The mean duration is 8.83±209 years.2.
