Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Wind-heat Urticaria With Shufeng Qingre Recipe

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Shufeng Qing Refang in the treatment of urticaria of wind-heat type.Material and method: All the 91 cases who met the inclusion criteria were come from the department of dermatology of Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, were randomly divided into the treatment group and control group.45 cases as the Treatment group,treated by Shufeng Qing Refang decoction(100ml,po,tid.Warm-taken decoction for half an hour after a meal);46 cases as the Control group,treated by Pimin Xiao capsule(1.6g,po,tid.Taken with warm water for half an hour after a meal). The treatment lasted for 28 days.Through clinical observation,we record the itching grade,wheal numbers,wheal diameter and duration; Ig E and eosinophils change, then process the data by SPSS 17.0 package.Results:1.Clinical effectiveness The treatment group:16 cases were cured,20 cases had markedly effect,7 cases had part effect, 2 had no response. The total effective rate was 95.56%. The control group:8 cases were cured,13 cases had markedly effect, 18 cases had part effect, 7 had no response.The total effective rate was 84.78%. Compared the two groups of clinical curative effect, P < 0.05. Suggesting that there was an significant difference between the two groups. 2.Symptoms integral After therapy,compared two groups of Symptoms integral, P < 0.05. Suggesting that there was an significant difference between the two groups. 3.Physico-chemical examination After therapy Ig E and eosinophils(Eos) count were decreased in both groups, P<0.05.Suggesting that there was an significant difference between the two groups.Conclusion: 1. The effect of urticaria(wind-heat type) treated by Shufeng Qing Refang was remarkable. 2. Shufeng Qing Refang can reduce urticaria(wind-heat type) Symptoms integral, Ig E and eosinophils levels. 3.Shufeng Qing Refang is safe, reliable, and worth promoting.
