A Preliminary Study On The Layout And Residential Forms Of Jiudu Village In Fuyang City, Henan Province

Henan Province is located in the Central Plains.Its profound historical and cultural heritage and special and complex environmental terrain have spawned many types of traditional villages with extremely high historical value,cultural value and artistic value.As early as in the Tang and Song dynasties,Jiudu Village was a military fortress.With the development of time,its military functions subsided.By the Qing Dynasty,Jiudu Village had become an ordinary dwelling village.Villagers of Dagushu,Hongdong County,Shanxi Province migrated here.Form the current model and scale.In recent years,with the development of economy,the villagers of Jiudu Village have gone out in large numbers,resulting in Jiudu Village,which has experienced nearly 100 years of storms and wars.Fortunately,the local government has noticed the importance of protecting the architecture and traditional space layout of Jiudu Village and started to update its protection work.In order to gain a deeper understanding of the living environment of Jiudu Village and ensure the authenticity of the research,the author conducted many field researches and collected a large amount of primary data by measuring and visiting local villagers.Through the consolidation of natural and geographical environmental data,I learned Natural and objective environment for the construction of Jiudu Village;Through the interpretation of the humanities and the historical environment,we learned about the ideology of Jiudu people and the feng shui concept of selecting the location and building the village;Through combing history,we understand the development history of Jiudu Village.Based on this,we combine measurement data and photos from field surveys from different levels of the village’s overall spatial shape,street and lane spatial patterns,traditional architectural forms,and architectural details.Conduct detailed analysis and discussion,and make in-depth explanations of the Jiudu Village under the landscape pattern.On this basis,we listed the potential safety problems of the Jiudu villagers’ weathering,the disappearance of traditional construction techniques,and the poor sanitation conditions of the people,and made improvements to the residential buildings based on these issues.This has seriously affected people’s lives.The municipal government,transportation,and infrastructure made conceptual plans,and finally proposed suggestions for villages to update their protection and development.Provide a case for the study of traditional villages in China and provide some reference for the future development and protection of Jiudu Village.
