Research On The External Space And Moving Line Design Of The Experiential Block Type Commercial Complex

As time goes,internet economy has become the main trend.The electronic commerce,a new way of shopping,is more and more popular among people.The O2 O model,which combines online mall shopping and offline transport and delivery,enabled consumers to enjoy the low price and fast service without even stepping out of the room,which successfully break the space and regional restriction on shopping.There is no doubt the rapid development of electronic commerce would occupy a great proportion of the market and greatly challenge the traditional commerce.However,although electronic commerce has many advantages,it still could not totally replace the value of entity shops.The reason is that online shopping can only satisfy people’s need for goods,but not the psychological anticipation of the shopping experience.Along with the changes of consumption pattern,the economy has evolved from service economy to experience economy;the entity commercial has also evolved from large shopping center to multi-functional combined-style commercial complex.Block model commercial complex is an emerging commercial complex model.Different from traditional commercial street which has dispersed operation and centralized management,the block model commercial complex combines natural environment,commercial atmosphere and social activity by its open space and flexible topology.Thus the external open space is the distinguishing feature of block model commercial complex and it is the main space for consumption activity.Outstanding external space and circulation designs endow commercial construction with exuberant vitality.This study focused on the core of commercial complex design,as is external space and circulation.From literature study and site investigation of two block model commercial complexes of the Swire Group: Southern representative – Chengdu Yuanyang Taiguli and Northern representative – Beijing Sanlitun Taiguli as examples,the characteristics of the two representative block model commercial complexes were analyzed and summarized.In addition,this study discussed the general law and method of the external space and circulation designs in block model commercial complexes,and the differences and creativity betweennorthern and southern external space and circulation designs.This study aims to provide reference for new trends of the entity commercial design under rapid changes along with the new commercial requirement.
