Recently, with the development of the electric equipments and household appliances, electrical fire accidents also increase, the damage has caused huge losses to the national economy and people’s life and property. As a way to prevent and control electrical fire, electrical fire monitoring system has been widely used. The development of electrical fire monitoring system in China started relatively late, and exist lots of deficiencies. This study is based on general situation of the electrical fire monitoring system, by using the industrial panel PC to develop a small and touchable electrical fire real-time monitoring system.Firstly, this paper analyzes the research status and achievements of the electrical fire monitoring system. On the basis of summarizing the functions of the existing products, the paper proposes the development tendency in the future, raises the research significances, the design index and the main research contents.Secondly, the paper designs the hardware system of the electrical fire monitoring system. By understanding the structure and work principles of the system, comparing the advantages and disadvantages of the existing electrical fire monitoring equipments, a system control scheme based on the industrial tablet computer is developed. Then, designs the hardware of the system likes the XCS1 electrical fire monitoring equipment, the industrial panel PC and the field data acquisition system and the communication mode of the system.Thirdly, the paper designs the software system of the electrical fire monitoring system. By comparing and analyzing the development method of the Windows CE application, the software programming scheme is determined. Then, designs the system software and man-machine interface with LabVIEW, analyzes the function and implementation method of each module in the main program according to the system design requirements and Modbus-RTU communication protocol. The paper combines the software system with the hardware system, to monitor the temperature and leakage current in the electrical circuit, finally to achieve the alarm, monitoring, control and management of the protected electrical circuits.Finally, a test platform of the system is built to carry on the communication, real time and comprehensive test. In the later stage, the electric fire monitoring system is tested on the spot. All the test results shows that:The software and hardware design of the electric fire monitoring system all meets the design requirements and the latest national standards; The system can detect the temperature, leakage current in the protected circuit in real time, detect and warn before the fire, effectively avoid the occurrence of electrical fire; The electrical fire monitoring system has a good performance in real time, stability and reliability, and it can be used in industrial field. |
