With the rapid development of society and economy, the electricity load and power consumption increased dramatically. The number of electrical fire accidents has increased, it occupies a large proportion in the total number of fire accidents. The state has formulated a series of standards to reduce electrical fire accidents and ensure electricity safety. This project is to design an electrical fire monitoring equipment with small size, complete function and low cost, which is based on the national standard.Firstly, this thesis expounded the background of the electrical fire monitoring system and electrical fire monitoring equipment, analyzed the principle, composition, development trend, purpose and significance of this study. Then the thesis introduced the modules of the electric fire monitoring equipment.Secondly, according to the purpose of this thesis and the national standards, this thesis proposed the hardware scheme of the monitoring equipment. PIC18F46K22 is used as the control chip, and the bus circuit, power supply circuit, anti-interference circuit have been designed. MAX3082 is chosen as the communication chip. And the touch screen module, Ethernet module and U disk module are selected for the monitoring equipment, and the interface circuits have been designed. Then each part of the circuit of the monitoring equipment was drawn by Altium Designer, and the PCB board was produced.Thirdly, according to the workflow and features of monitoring equipment, the thesis introduced the process and program of the system, including the initializing program, the self-verifying program. The monitoring detector and equipment used Modbus to design the sending and receiving data program. Besides, the thesis introduced the data forwarding program of the Ethernet module, and the initializing program, storage data program of the U disk module. With the IDE provided by the manufacturers, the software logic and interface of monitoring equipment have been designed.Finally, the electrical fire monitoring equipment has been debugged, the thesis made a conclusion of the project and all the work has been summarized.
