The Application Of Bionic Elements In Product Visual Design

Bionic design refers to a creative discipline developed based on Bionics, which i s a new design method and design philosophy that can imitate and copy the functions,structures, patterns, colors textures of everything in the nature and the natural beings.This paper focuses on the study of the application of bionic elements in the visual desi gn of products, so it mainly carries out a study of extracting the elements in the nature that can affect the visual design of products, such as forms, colors, textures, and so on.Nature is the main source of extracting bionic elements. We can find numerous bionic elements in the form and fur of animals, the flower petals and leaves, and the shape a nd texture of natural beings. The extracted bionic elements can form applicable bionic graphic elements, bionic form elements, bionic color elements and bionic texture ele ments after arrangement and filtering. With the unique design means of bionic design,these elements can be interlaced with the visual design, which enables the visual desi gn of products to have more vitality of nature and natural characteristics, satisfying th e mental world of consumers.
