With the recovery of the global real estate market and the rapid economic development of China,China has become one of the largest buyers in real estate overseas.There are detailed expressly terms on lawn maintenance of the private property management to house owner in foreign countries.Many Chinese owners took punishments due to negligence to the lawn maintenance by strict law and regulations provided by foreign governments.Lawn maintenance is a daily tasks in foreign families,with complex and tedious links,of which lawn mowing is the shortest cycle,costing overmuch of physical power and time from house owners.Through the market research,it's found that the existing mowing service mode in the market are not able to meet the needs of users.However,robotic lawn mower provides a relatively ideal services to the public and gained its appreciation by its technical advantages.Anyway,facing the homogenization in the market,robotic lawn mower meets huge challenge with its technology being no longer the core competitiveness and necessity to seek a new breakthrough.The experience economic development shows great potential in recent decades,and It is future trend to discuss how to achieve transformation in traditional industry for further development with service design thinking embedded in oriented by the user experience.With the research and study of the mowing service mode,it found that there be mainly the four points of deficiency in domestic and foreign market currently: lack of the study on the user experience in mowing service,lack of the overall design for mowing service,lack of the thinking of brand differentiation in mowing service,lack of thinking of design for the-closed-loop lawn maintenance service-instead of a single mowing function.In order to solve these problems,this paper conducted the following work:(1)Study on theory of mowing service based on user experience: including the concept of service design,touch-points in service,service design method--customer journey map,process in service design.(2)Study on basic theory and design elements of user experience and the business model on lawn maintenance.(3)Study on the target users and their demand on mowing service.The paper summarized the basic situation,attitudes,feelings and emotion of target users toward the traditional lawn mowing service,and dig out the basic and latent demands of users with the method of data collection and focus group and the satisfaction score card,which providing an objective basis for the following design exploration.(4)Analysis on the touch-points in the traditional mode of robotic lawn mowing service.(5)Creation and practice of robotic lawn mowing service.(6)Evaluation.With a comprehensive evaluation,the new service mode for robotic lawn mowing has feasibility and able to highly improve the quality of service,so as to optimize the user experience.User experience acts as a guide throughout the complete service analysis and design process,which provides innovative ideas and case description for the renovation and transformation of traditional industries,and to help enterprises and businesses to avoid the malignant influence by blind imitation or stuck in a homogenization in market.Moreover,it inspires that using the service design thinking and the user experience as an important perspective to the development of new service or products,it will benefit providing the service mode of consumer preferences and get the competitive service brand built up.
