Research On China's International Division Of Labor In Global Value Chain Of Electronic Communication Products And Related Effect Factors

With the accelerated development of economic globalization,more and more countries and regions are participating in the international division of labor.The international division of labor has changed.The value chain of enterprise activities is changing as well,along with the generation of the global value chain.Direct communication and trade between companies over the world have weakened the effects of the traditional international division of labor from the aspect of country boundaries.That is to say,multinational companies' kinds of resources are flowing in the world,which help them establish new rules or barriers in all kinds industries.Under this background,it is more difficult for the developing countries to embed in the core areas of the value chain,and their division interests would also be affected.So it is necessary for China,the huge developing country,to understand the international situation,follow the economic changes,and make an effort to embed high-end global value chain.In this paper,China's electronic information industry is the research object.On the basis of related research achievements by scholars over the world on global value chain theory,Timmer's deconstruction method on the global value chain of products is adopted to deconstruct the global value chain of China's electronic communication product.Firstly,the national and international value added of China's electronic communication product would be computed.Secondly,China's position of international division of labor in the world would be counted according to different departments' rates of contribution.Finally,five influence factors that would make influence on the position of international division would be studied empirically with some measurement modes.As a result,China's division position in the global value chain of electronic information products is not high,and the international division of labor index is below the world average level.Therefore,in order to improve the position of China's international division of labor,government and enterprises should actively encourage enterprise and industrial upgrading,and improve national demand,and add large investment in research and training in higher and medium quality talent.
