Research On The Strategy Of Production Operation In Q Shipbuilding Company

As the global economic sustained downturn, it could cause serious impact on the shipbuilding industry. Shipbuilding industry plays a decisive role in national economy. It doesn't only promote labor in domestic market, but also increase total foreign trade value. With the intensifying of shipbuilding market competition, Q shipbuilding company need optimize production operation's strategy urgently to enhance its core competence by cost reducing and productivity improvement.Based on the study of the principle of lean production, naval architecture's theory, in combination with management principle of modern lean shipbuilding system, using value stream mapping to eliminate ineffective time of hull manufacturing in shipbuilding, realizing integration of just-in-time production management and group technology of block manufacturing in modern shipyard is developed. This paper mainly analyzes bottlenecks in production flow in Q shipbuilding company, proposing the solution of lean production and group technology. At last, In order to eliminate waste time in hull processing, the key points of lean shipbuilding are virtual flow production in curved blocks and single piece flow production in panel by pull plan system. Through the whole process optimization in naval architecture and continuous improvement by lean production, we have achieved with the less amount of intermediate goods in blocks to provide the better production efficiency in shipbuilding.This paper may have reference for traditional shipyard to reduce the inventory of intermediate products in shipbuilding, and shorten the production cycle to improve production efficiency.
