B Railway Machinery Co.,Ltd is a company mainly engaged in the design,production and testing of railway track maintenance machinery.Though with rapid development in recent years,there are some problems in the performance appraisal of the company: 1.The matching degree between the performance appraisal and the railway machinery company strategy and the culture is not enough;2.Position analysis is not clear;3.The communication of performance appraisal is not smooth;4.The time for performance appraisal is not appropriate;5.The transparency of performance appraisal is not enough;6.Performance evaluation system is not complete and etc.In this paper,case analysis method,literature research method and interview survey method are adopted to analyze the existing performance evaluation system of B railway machinery company and find out the problem.Regarding this problem,it is thought that the performance appraisal system of the company should be re-designed and evaluated,so as to improve enterprise cohesion.This paper include mainly five parts as follows: 1.Introduction.The research background and significance are presented;2.Research on the related theories of performance appraisal,and the performance index evaluation method,target management method,assessment method with 360 degree and balanced score card method are analyzed;3.The existing performance appraisal system of B railway machinery company is analyzed and find out the problems and deficiencies in performance evaluation of B railway machinery company;4.Through the re-design of performance appraisal system of B railway machinery company and combined with the B railway machinery company post specifications and the decomposition of performance indicators,the disconnection problem of the strategic objectives within the B railway machinery company is solved and a set of performance appraisal system is formed;5.Conclusion and prospect.The shortcomings of the paper is summarized and some suggestions and measures are put forward.This research provides some reference and value to similar railway machinery companies.
