Waste gas power generation is one of the most effective ways to use energy saving and emission reduction, waste gas recycling. In recent years, the progress of research and development of gas power generation units is accelerating. How to realize the scientific management of the development schedule of the gas turbine has become an important issue in the present. The reasonable control of the project schedule can effectively improve the R & D efficiency, but also can shorten the development cycle and reduce the cost of R & D. Project management theory has been widely used in many fields, while in the research phase of gas turbine research and development is relatively small. Therefore, this paper takes this as the breakthrough point to study, in order to provide a scientific plan and control program for the development of gas turbine.This paper mainly use the theory of plan and project schedule control project of SD high power gas generator set, using WBS decomposition of tasks, the mechanical product R & D project task decomposition, schedule division, schedule plan methods and strategies, cohesion and logical relation of each task between the development process of clear gas generator unit, according to the logic relation, draw the Gantt chart, network diagram, and according to the work of the time, make project plan, find out the key line and calculate the total construction period, as the project schedule control standard and basis. Subsequently, according to the characteristics of R & D projects, the application of concurrent engineering and schedule compression method to optimize the project schedule. Then, using project management tracking system and optimizing the organization structure of project management to ensure the progress of the product according to the plan, the project schedule is effectively controlled. In the end, the paper expounds the guarantee mechanism of project schedule control, and lays the foundation for the realization of the project duration goal. In summary, the project schedule control theory is applied to the mechanical product research and development project, the combination of theory and practice, the research on schedule plan and control with a strong reference to the mechanical product development project.
