Risk Management For Turnkey Project In Sales Of Company D

Sales are the key factor to the company success, which decides the management structure, decision-making structure, operation strategy and ect. As the market competition is getting more and more fiercely, the company competition is actually the sales competition between the companies. As the representative of the plastics machinery industry, company D can not only sell the single machines as the competition is increasing and the products are getting similar. To keep further sales advantages and expand market share, the new sales model of total solution for turn-key projects is coming up more and more. Company D is the typical of them. But company D meets many problems on project risk management. It is the first priority for company D to efficiently improve the project risk management.Starting with the basic theory of project risk management, this article introduces project risk identification, project risk evaluation, and project risk response. Based on the traits of the turnkey project in Company D the current risk management situation is described, the potential risks are pointed out and the problems on the risk management are analyzed. This dissertation will introduce how to use fish bone method to recognize project risks, how to use risk matrix to evaluate the individual risk factor, how to use AHP to calculate the risk level of the whole project, and how to use AHP again to find the best the risk response measurement. At last the suggestions to improve organization structure and work flow are given out.Through the research in this dissertation the author would like to find a way with project risk management theory to set up a scientific overall risk management system for turnkey project in company D, which also could be an example for similar projects from other suppliers in this industry.
