Research On The Independent Innovation Of SMEs Under The Resource Constraint Conditions

Under the current economic situation, the small and medium-sized enterprises of China have become the main forces of the national social and economic development. The independent innovation ability of these enterprises significantly affected the regional industry development and industrial competitiveness. For most of the small and medium-sized enterprises, it is difficult to carry out independent innovation and the needed input resources are difficult to bear for these enterprises.In recent years, the growing resource constraints make the independent innovation in small and medium-sized enterprise tend to imitative innovation. Overall, the desire to independent innovation of small and medium-sized enterprises is very strong. But the ability to break through the resource constraint of the majority of small and medium-sized enterprises is limited. Even if the pay back of independent innovation is very high, but less number of small and medium-sized enterprises could continue to break through the constraint of all kinds of resources. Besides, the development time of small and medium-sized enterprises in China is shorter, and the capital and technology accumulation is limited, which have restricted the independent innovation of small and medium-sized enterprise. So, this paper chooses the independent innovation of small and medium-sized enterprise as research object. It analyzes the independent innovation characteristics of the small and medium-sized enterprise, and the mechanism of independent innovation from resource constraints.This paper effectively reveal the inherent law of small and medium-sized enterprise independent innovation under the resources constraint, enrich the related research results to some extent, and provide the reference to make promotion countermeasures of small and medium-sized enterprise independent innovation.First of all, this paper elaborates the connotation, content, classify,characteristic and constitute of the enterprise independent innovation, reviews the relevance theory of resource constraint and independent innovation, and analyzes the characteristics of small and medium-sized enterprise independent innovation with factor analysis method. Secondly, it analyzes the influence mechanism of medium-sized enterprise independent innovation from resource constraint, capital constraint, HR constraint and technological resources. Thirdly, it empirical test the correlation between resource constraint and medium-sized enterprise independent innovation with correlation test and regression estimate method. fourthly, it put forward certain countermeasure suggestions to promote the ability of medium-sized enterprise independent innovation. The main research conclusions are as follows:first and foremost, the overall level of small and medium-sized enterprise technologyinnovation is weak, the overall level of management innovation and marketing innovation is general and the overall level of institution al innovation is well.Besides, the comprehensive ability of independent innovation of small and medium-sized enterprise is weak, and there is larger development space. At last,policy constraints, capital resources, human resources constraints, as well as technical resource constraints, are significantly affected the small and medium-sized enterprises for independent innovation. Such as the independent innovation ability of small and medium-sized enterprise with the policy resources, HR resources and technology resources is stronger, and enterprise self-raised capital is conducive to independent.
