| With China's entry into the WTO and the domestic market's joint into the international market, the home enterprises are now facing greater challenges. The market competition are becoming more intense. It goes without saying that the small and middle-sized enterprises producing valves are also facing survival crises. Therefore, it becomes a key issue in the business enterprise competition how to seize the market opportunities and to meet the need of customers commendably. Quality function deployment (QFD) is one of the valid tools to solve this problem.This paper introduces the concept, the principles and the structures of the QFD , as well as the quality characteristic parallel optimazation technique. The object of valve product with typical model on structure and techniques is chosen as an application case, and the quantity function deployment (QFD) is applied to the development and quantity improvement for valve product. With interviews and two questionnaires as well as the pro-map and AHP ,the author collects and summarizes the customers requirement information for valves. The tree diagram of the customers requirements and the requirement weights for each valve are firstly obtained; It explores the problem how to convert the customers' requirements into the quality characteristic. The evidence theory is applied to cooperate with the information of the QFD. It is more scientific the transformation between the customers requirements and the quality characteristics. By means of software QFD2000, the information in house of quality for the check valve is conducted and the data processing between the relevant item in the house of quality is carried out.The relation matrix between the customers requirements and quality characteristic and self relation matrix of quality characteristic are obtained. The assessments on the competitivess in the customers requirements and quality characteristic are made. The planning house of quality for check valve is established. On the basis of the planning house of quality, the quality characteristics parallel optimazation model is constructed applying the quality characteristics parallel optimation technique. By considering the various conflicts in the QFD planning, a program of simplex method using C++ is employed in the solution of the model. The target improvement percentage of each quality characteristic is determined. Finally, a mathematical model is proposed for the determination of the target value using the target improvement percentage. The method for determining the coefficient curve of the target flow resistance on the valve flow resistance test is put forward. By all the aspects mentioned above, the research in this paper makes plenty preparations for the further steps of the parts and components deployment,technics planning, the production planning for valve. On the other hand it explores an effective way of using the QFD in middle and small-sized enterprises. |
