Research On The Development And Evaluation Of Logistics Park In Wanjiang Urban Belt

Since the year 2009 in which the State Council issued the "Logistics Restructuring and Revitalization Plan",the development of the logistics park has experienced enormous progress with corresponding increase in reforms in the logistic sector.Capital flow,technology,human resources,and information management in the logistic park has contributed significantly to the sector.Evaluation of the development of the logistics park could provide the benchmark to assist the government in the formulation and implementation of policies so as to provide a more reliable support in the operation of the logistics sector and also help in getting adequate feedback on the performance of the logistics park which will enable the necessary steps to be taken to improve business performance.This study focuses on the evaluation of the logistics park in Wanjiang urban belt with major focus on the review of published literature,and the combination of years of study.In-depth evaluation of the logistics sector in Wanjiang urban belt was conducted with an objective,scientific,realistic mind with a lot of field research to fully understand the current situation in the city as well as the future developmental plans for the logistics sector.The experience of both Chinese citizens and foreigners in the city were also evaluated.Firstly,the impact macro environmental factors on development of logistics sector were evaluated.We looked at three main indexesincluding the overall economic situation,market supply and demand as well as logistics and traffic conditions.A combination of statistical factors were compared and evaluated in the city.Values and data from the logistic sector were compared including operator,social and scientific values to build an evaluation index system.Using a combination of already reported data and our research results,the AHP analysis was employed to expand the evaluation of the logistic sector in Wanjiang urban belt.Finally,the combination of results assessment for the logistic park in different regions of Hefei,Wuhu,Anqing were applied in the development of a comprehensive proposal for the the logistic sector in Wanjiang urban belt.
