Study On Status Quo, Issue And Countermeasure Of Financial Support In Agriculture In Yueqing Zhejiang

China has a long history in agriculture production. Agriculture has always been a basic industry that has provided significant in the country's national economic system safeguard to the economic and social development of the entire nation. Since the establishment of new China, there have been a series of important reformations on agriculture. The government has attached new level of importance to the support, guidance and regulation of agriculture. The promotion of household contract responsibility system with remuneration linked to output has especially opened a historical page in China's agriculture production. Since the removal of agricultural tax in 2006 by the government,the type and scale of subsidies state finance is providing to agriculture business is getting more and more each day, which aroused unprecedented level of vitality in rural economy.Under the jurisdiction of Wenzhou City, Yueqing is located in the eastern costal of China where economy is repetitively developed. To support the development of local agriculture and create the environmental conditions for farmer to increase income, local government implanted a series of financial support in agriculture. However, due to limitation of conditions, the status of Yueqing's financial support in agriculture is not optimistic and there are quite some problems to be solved. This thesis takes Yueqing as the study subject, and analyzes its financial support in agriculture in-depth, hoping that financial measures more suitable to local agriculture development can be discussed.Surrounding the topic of financial support in agriculture in Yueqing, this thesis takes reference from massive data and collects the statistics of financial support in agriculture in Yueqing since year 2007, to fulfil its detail and intensive analysis of the status quo. And starting from the point of status quo, this thesis elaborates its analysis from three aspects:volume, structure and mechanism, and proposes countermeasures and suggestion on existing practical issues. This thesis believes that the scale of financial support in agriculture should be intensified, the structure should be optimized, more financial funds should flow to water conservancy and science & technology, and the utilization of financial funds should be monitored. This thesis hopes that it can provide certain reference to the effectiveness improvement of financial support in agriculture as well as the development of local agriculture.
