Global economy recovered after last economic crisis, and Chinese economy is the ahead of it due to government policies, which provides both chance and challenges to the local companies. The competition became fiercer and the only way to survive is to set up own core-competitiveness based on revolution and innovation. As is known to all, Talent is the most important for a company. Recruiting and owning core talent can help company to develop. But due to the industry nature of shipping enterprise, the problem of attrition and lack of talent is more and more serious. If the problem isn't resolved, it will lead to bad effects on the company's future.DR Company established in 2013. Although shortly established, the company is now a famous shipping company thanks to the experienced leadership and scientific management policies. The main business of DR Company is shipping leasing, ship management and cabin allocation. DR Company developed rapidly in its main business and already owns advanced management concepts and business process, received a lot of good comments from customers and is set as a model. But the human resource management policy can't match the rapid development of the business, there are a lot of job vacancy, together with a lot of attritions, which prohibits the pace of DR Company's development. This article analyses the management status and attrition cases of this company, refers to advanced human resource management theories and modules, digs out the reasons of these problems such as lack of career management policy, disaster of staff training system, out of age of C&B system etc. Finally the writer proposes some suggestions and solutions to help DR Company solve these attrition problems.This article can not only help DR Company to solve the risk of attrition disaster and help company to develop, but also provide professional reference to the similar shipping companies with similar human resource management problems.
