Since the reform and opening up,our country's economic and social fields have achieved rapid development.However,with the deepening of reform,the question of unbalanced development becomes more and more serious.Problems about Agriculture,Rural areas and Peasantry have been our country's prominent restriction factor when we are trying to build a moderately prosperous society.The most important question among Agriculture,Rural areas and Peasantry is the farmer's income.The farmers' Income can continue to increase or not affects the development of our country's agriculture,rural areas and the upgrading of Manufacturing Industry.This essay makes labor migration's positive effects on farmers' income be the purpose of the study,focus on theoretical research and empirical research.In theoretical research: This article explores the transfer of rural labor theory of origins,sorts the classical models of foreign labor transfer theory,and focuses on the domestic and foreign studies about the effects of labor migration on farmers' income.The result of theoretical analysis is that labors transfer to urban areas can improve human resources allocation of Chinese agriculture,raise the marginal productivity of farmers,increase farmers' income.In empirical research: This article analyzes the contribution of labor migration on farmers' income,the article use secondary and tertiary industries' ratio of the employed to the total quantity of employment,as the explanatory variables,use the per capita net income of rural residents as dependent variable.After completed data analysis and screening,the essay uses Eviews6.0 make a regression analysis.Then we find that rural labors transfer to urban sector will make ratio of the employed in secondary and tertiary industries increase.When the ratio increases 1%,the farmers nominal income,real income will increase 2.27% and 2.20%.After completion of the theoretical research and empirical research,this paper draws conclusions and policy recommendations: that our country still retained a large number of rural surplus labor,the transfer of rural labor is an effective way to increase the income of farmers in current and future period of time.To increase farmers' income need us to make efforts in promoting the reform of the household registration system,improve the quality of the rural labor force,to build a unified labor market,promote the upgrading of agricultural structure,to explore tertiary industry's employment potentials.
