A Study On The Mechanism Of Increasing Farmers' Income Of Wanzhou District In The Three Gorges Reservior Region

Farmers'issue is the core of "Three Rural" issue. Increasing farmers'income is the core of farmers'issue. In the recent years, farmers'income grows slowly, or even has rebounded. If farmers'income can't be increased in a long-term, the result will not only affect the improvement of farmers'living standards, but also affect the national food security; not only restricts the development of rural economy, but also restricts the economic growth ; not only infect rural society stability, but also infect the achievement of the goal of building a well-off society ; not only a major economic issue, but also a major political issue. Studying on the mechanism of increasing famers'income is vital to the society on a long-term.Three Gorges Reservoir Area is the focus of China's western, located on the eastern section of Upper Yangtze River's economic belt. It is not only an important part of the Upper Yangtze River's economic belt, but also plays an important link role in the middle and lower reaches. Three Gorges Reservoir Area directly relates to the achievement of the development targets of the western countries, and relates to the success of the Three Gorges Project.Wanzhou, as a typical representative of the Three Gorges Reservoir Area, studying on the mechanism of increasing famers'income has a great value and reference to solve the "Three Rural" issue of the whole Three Gorges Reservoir Area.In this paper, through a considerable research on domestic and foreign farmers'increasing income theory and experience, with the real situation of Wanzhou, first of all, analyses the tatus quo and problems of Wanzhou farmers` income from the income constitution. Secondly, analyses the relevant factors from 4 aspects of farmers income constitution in Wanzhou, and has the key factor that affects Wanzhou farmers'income. Thirdly, through analysing Wanzhou's conditions of natural resources, economic resources, social resources and other multilateral environmental, proposes the establishment of long-term mechanism to increase farmers` income , which includs the general idea , modalities, procedures and development priorities. Finally, some specific policy and proposals are offered.This paper is composed of six chapters.Chapter 1 is the introduction, including the main thesis on the research background, purpose ,methods, and the main contents of increasing farmers'income at home and abroad.Chapter 2 analyses the issue and the status of farmers'income in Wanzhou District of the Three Gorges Reservoir Area.Chapter 3 analyses the farmers'income status. Mainly use the method of Grey Correlation Analysis in-depth analysis the key or important factors of Wanzhou farmers'income.Chapter 4 is about construction of the long-term mechanism to increase Wanzhou farmers. Mainly including the ideas, the mode, the steps, the cores and specific complementary mechanisms.Chapter 5 is the countermeasures and suggestions of Wanzhou peasants to increase income, including how to speed up the transfer of rural surplus labor force, how to achieve a reasonable adjustment of industrial structure in rural areas and how to improve the quality of farmers.Chapter 6 is the Summary. It is the main conclusions of this paper, a brief summary.
