Study On Rural Surplus Labor Transfer And The Peasants' Income In Tuoketuo County Of Inner Mongolia

The peasants' income is the basis of peasant household production and life, but also is the important symbol of measuring rural economy and even the entire national economy development. In recent years, the slow growth of rural peasants' income, even in some areas of declining, has become the most prominent problem of rural economic development. Consequently, how to reasonably transfer of agricultural surplus labor force, increase peasants' income, already become an urgent and important task in the construction of socialist new countryside context. The author took TuoKeTuo county in Hohhot as the breakthrough point. This study focused on the research and examined the transfer of rural surplus labor force and the peasants' income related issues in TuoKeTuo county.This study firstly reviewed the domestic and foreign research about rural surplus labor force transfer and the problem of peasants' income. Then some concepts relative to agricultural surplus labor were defined clearly, such as rural labor force, agricultural surplus labor force, agricultural surplus labor force transfer and peasants' income. These concepts laid a foundation for further study. Through a lot of investigation and survey, the author understood and summarized the current situation of TuoKeTuo county agricultural surplus labor transfer. It has been discovered that the transfer of rural surplus labor force plays a very important role in improving peasants' income. In turn, the increase of peasants' income in the transfer would drive more people to join the ranks of the transfer and promote the peasants' income. Finally, from the education, system, and economic level, the author put forward some suggestion on how to promote rural surplus labor transfer and increase peasants' income.
