The Lean Management Strategies And Practices Of Huatong Cable

All areas are developing constantly in today's world, disciplines of various fields are in constant progress. The rationalization of management is regarded as their goal by managers of the enterprise in business management. The rationalization of management couldn't be limited into companies, it also should be combined with society. One microcosm is the theory of lean thinking and lean production obtained by an American professor from Toyota in the early 20 th century. Lean thinking provides a new concept for managers, which is used for configuration and management of resources.As a top company of cable manufacturers, the group limited company of Huatong in Hebei province is facing an increasingly fierce competitive environment. A strategic transformation is needed to help the company to gain bigger opportunities, so the company chooses lean management strategies and lean methods, and it works well. The theory of lean strategies is described and Ingersoll Rand Company is introduced for application of lean manufacture in this thesis, finally some rules and meaningful suggestions could be founded.The first chapter conducts background and significance of lean management strategies, and points out the problems of the group limited company of Huatong in Hebei province. The second chapter collates and summarizes the relevant theory, and reviews the research results at home and abroad. A successful implementation of lean management strategies is described in third chapter. The fourth chapter introduces some specific methods about implementation of lean management strategies. A practice for improving lean production in the group limited company of Huatong is analyzed in fifth chapter, and some conclusions could be drawed from it.
