With the continuous acceleration of global economic integration process,domestic banking industry is faced with fiercer competition. In the next few years,Chinese economy will transform from investment-and export-orientated growth pattern to consumption-orientated growth pattern, and the grading of traditional industry and the promotion of consumption will inject great motive forces into the development of service industry. Therefore, as an important component of financial service industry, banking industry will face unprecedented opportunities and challenges.As a labor-intensive industry, the core competitiveness of banking industry ultimately is embodied in the competition of high-quality talents. How to improve the quality of employees of local rural commercial banks to meet the demand of business development, how to solve the bottleneck brought by the deficiency of specialized talents, and how to occupy a position among fierce talent competition in future are the problems that should be solved by all local rural commercial banks on human resource management. During the process, career planning and management of young employees should go throughout the human resource management of local rural commercial banks.This paper synthetically utilizes home and abroad theories, knowledge and achievements of career planning and management, adopts the theory-integrated research method with practice, makes preliminary analysis of present situations of career planning and management of young employees of local rural commercial banks,makes detailed analysis and research on WX Rural Commercial Bank which has typical and representative significance, takes the present situation of career planning and management of young employees of local rural commercial banks as the object of study, finds out problems existed in career planning and management of young employees of local rural commercial banks, and puts forward suggestions and countermeasures for the improvement of career planning and management of young employees of Chinese local rural commercial banks.The results of the research reveal many problems existed in career developmentchannel, promotion system, training system in young employees of local rural commercial banks. To be directed against such phenomena, this paper puts forward the corresponding suggestions and countermeasures on building phased career planning and management, optimization of young employee training system,expansion of young employee growth channel, etc., so as to enhance career planning and management of young employees of local rural commercial banks, improve human resource management level of local rural commercial banks, and enhance the overall competitiveness of local rural commercial banks.
