In recent years, along with the rapid economic development and the continuous improvement of our living standards, Residents' consumption of meat and meat products is rising year by year, china has become the biggest meat consumption country in the world. However, due to the domestic aquaculture industry can not meet the needs of our residents, and imported meat products has obvious price advantage, therefore in the huge market demand of our country, the meat product imports has been increasing steadily year by year. However, "imported meat" indicates a "safe meat". Meat products safety events abroad also occurred a lot in recent years, animal disease outbreaks such as bovine spongiform encephalopathy(BSE, commonly known as "mad cow disease"), H7N9 short for highly pathogenic avian influenza, influenza a(H1N1), and Heavy metal pollutional exceeds detection bid, The abuse of clenbuterol hydrochloride(also known as "lean meat powder") pollution of agriculture and veterinary drugs, and "horse meat storm", etc. Relevant regulatory authorities in China attaches great importance to this. In order to ensure the residents' consumption of qualified imported meat products, safety of imported meat products has been strictly controlled.Different countries economic development and people's living standard is different, make the development of meat food safety level in these countries is not the same.Below will be in New Zealand, Australia, Canada, the United States, some European countries and regions, countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Uruguay's meat products is analyzed by regulation.Huangdao port is one of the three designated meat import port in shandong province, the largest port of meat product imports to the province. In Huangdao port,Meat products in 2014 imports of 1996 batches of 66400 tons, $219 million; In 2015 of 3502 batches of 89600 tons, $255 million; Since 2016(April 10) imports of 1022 batches of 34700 tons, 076 million dollars, that is a considerable number. The meat products import of Huangdao port can reflect the overall situation of Shandong province meat imports. This study based on 2014, 2015, 2016 in the three years of Huangdao port of import meat products' inspection and quarantine, sorting and summary statistics, the importer of entry meat products, quality and health conditions, varieties of meat, and the existing main problems in detail and comprehensive analysis. The results showed that the imported meat product labels Huangdao port failure rate of 19.4%, a group of Uruguayan imports of beef fat spoilage, a group from Argentina wings sensory test failed, a group of Brazilian imports of bovine animals and meat sensory testing laboratories test failed, a group of New Zealand imported sheep fat products detected in the horse-derived ingredients. This study also product inspection and quarantine of import meat related laws and regulations and national standards for carding, analysis, thus proposed to our country imported meat the improvement of the quarantine supervision and management system countermeasures and suggestions.First, crack down on illegal entry of meat, meat multisectoral joint fight against smuggling and strengthen inspection efforts, control the sales source. Clear responsibilities and relevant departments should strengthen the various wholesalers, distributors of spot checks, regulate the domestic meat market order. Inspection and quarantine agencies to strengthen port inspection, to prevent non-registered national, non-registered factory numbers entrainment phenomenon. Second is to strengthen the epidemic and food safety risk judgments. Strict access system, and the establishment of protocols national disease exchange mechanism, to adjust the access list. Comprehensive, scientific research and analysis, and with China's laws and regulations for comparison, analysis to find similarities and differences, access to the national meat for pesticide and veterinary drug use for access to the country or region, disease, official residue control and related laws and regulations lack of supervision, focused and targeted implementation monitoring detection of different projects to enhance scientific, relevance and effectiveness of the risk assessment of imported meat, timely and accurate release of the risk warning, in line with our established practice, scientific and effective food safety risk monitoring and warning system to ensure the health and safety of imported meat.
