With the accelerating process of global economic integration, China economy is inseparable with the world economy. With the rapid growth of China economy, the huge competition of construction market becomes more and more intensified. Not only foreign companies enter into Chinese market, but also Chinese companies enter the international market continuously. With the foreign companies entering, the advanced project management thought, methods and model also enter into China, which let the companies gain living space to develop and grow. In recent years, the EPC Engineering Procurement and Construction model is used and recognized widely in the international and internal construction project. Under this model, it continues to improve the function of each node to ensure the final realization of the project purpose. Procurement is a very important part in EPC project, its importance to the whole project operation is self-evident. This thesis is based on this background; it deeply discusses the importance of procurement management for EPC project. It analyses the improvement and construction plan for procurement management in EPC project.This thesis is based on the data analysis to realize the practical significance of the procurement management, to analyze the existing problems in EPC project, then summarizes scientifically. In order to guarantee the maximal profit of the project, to establish a new procurement management model that is based on the supply chain management theory, to guide oilfield companies of EPC project procurement behavior, to improve the traditional procurement management model.In this thesis, supply chain management theory and comprehensive evaluation method are used. Through the use of literature analysis the situation of the procurement management in EPC project is shown, especially for oilfield companies. Through the use ASME method, the procurement process in EPC project is analyzed. Through the use of FAHP method the relevant suppliers for oilfield company are optimized. All of these are to establish the supplier selection and evaluation system in EPC project, which provide comprehensive, scientific and reasonable, easy operation method for the supplier selection and evaluation system. Then this thesis verifies its feasibility by case.In the end of this thesis, it explains that material procurement management is the important subject for oilfield companies in EPC project; it has the great practical significance to prompt the competition for the project and the companies. It answers how to regulate the procurement and supply point and how to improve efficiency of management. This thesis provides new reference for oilfield companies in EPC project procurement management.
