With the rapid development of economy and finance, and customer demands keep rising, the problem of unreasonable layout and single service function of commercial bank branch network has become increasingly prominent.Especially after China entering WTO and the all-round opening of China's Commercial Banking, a large number of foreign banks rush into China market, expanse their bussiness in both large and medium cities, which greatly weakened the monopoly of the Four Gaint stated-owned commercial banks. Facing more and more fierce competition, CCB steps up the pace of reformation, has already carrying out two generations transformation of the branch network, and started to proceed the third generation transformation of the branch network. JS Bank is located in the area with developed economy, and also the competitive focus area in the banking industry.Especially under the condition that economy slowdown, and meantime customer self-demand awareness further enhances in recent years, the bank business development facing enormous pressure. Under the circumstances, JS bank must change their products and services, improve the operation efficiency and management by a more scientific and higher efficiency businees process, thus to improve the somprehensive competitiveness.This paper firstly analyzes the current problem in business process of JS bank points out the basic idea of empirical research aiming at these problems--to re-orient the branch network, to further adjust the management system of the branch network, to re-design the post setting and labor combination, to optimize the process of sales service. Combined with the reality of JS bank, we study the functional zoning, post setting, service process and management system of the branch network using the questionnaire method, comparative analysis method and flow chart method.Tthe barnch network is divided into eight blocks as consulting guide area, exhibition area, rest area, non-cash service zone, cash-service zone, VIP service zone, self-service area and electronic banking experience area according to different functions., wherein, consulting guide area, exhibition area, non-cash service zone and VIP service constitute the marketing area.Accordingly Each branch network assigns eight kinds of posts as branch netwrok leader, marketing director, operation director, client manager, product manager, senior teller, teller and the lobby manager.Each post is assigned with clear responsibhilities, specially defined the service process for the four important positions of the lobby manager, teller, operation director and the client manager, in order to adjust and optimize the management of the branch network, tand finally achieve the goals of vertical management, the flat business development and the background highly concentrated. Finally, This paper evaluates the effects of the business process optimization scheme, and puts forward the basic thoughts, opinions and suggestions.
