| With the advent of the 21 st century, economic is more and more globalized, domestic banks are inevitably faced with a competitive environment. In order to adap t to this environment, the major commercial banks increasing emphasize the human resources management that is helpful to achieve growth of banking business. As a major ways and means of human resource management, the performance evaluation has an important role for maximize the benefits of banks. Currently, most commercial banks have established their own performance evaluation system, but through practice, we know that many performance evaluation systems of commercial banks have some problems. Therefore, it has important practical significance to research the performance evaluation systems of commercial banks.In this paper, we take Changsha Branch of China CITIC Bank as the research object to investigate and analyses its existing performance evaluation pr ogram. This paper is divided into five parts. The first part is an introduction. It introduces the research background, research significance, research contents, and research methods and proposes the technology roadmap study. The second part is the literat ure review. It is the theoretical basis of this article and mainly set forth the current research of performance appraisal theory. The third part is the status quo of performance appraisal system of Changsha Branch of China CITIC Bank. First, we review the background and development of China CITIC Bank; secondly, we describe the current status of performance appraisal system of Changsha Branch of China CITIC Bank and its existing problems; finally, we analyze the reasons for current problems. The fourth part is the focus of this article, it improve the performance appraisal program of Changsha Branch of China CITIC Bank. By analyzing the performance appraisal system of Changsha Branch of China CITIC Bank, and comprehend clearly its design principles and design ideas, we propose an improved performance evaluation program. The fifth part is the implementation of the improved performance appraisal system of Changsha Branch of China CITIC Bank. We give some suggestions and put forward the expected results for its implementation.We expect to establish a reliable performance appraisal system for Changsha Branch of China CITIC Bank to achieve its steady and rapid development. We can guide the improvements of performance appraisal systems of other commercial banks and therefore establish a scientific and effective incentive and restraint mechanisms for our commercial banks to ultimately realize the benefit maximization. |
