| Performance assessment is a core function of modern human resourcemanagement. It has direct and significant impact on activeness of employees as wellas strategic fulfillment of entrepreneur competitive advantage. In the circumstancesthat the expansion of operation sites and business scale of commercial banks isoverwhelming, however, the development and deployment of human resources lagbehind obviously, what’s more, is the delay of optimization of the currentperformance assessment for newly-recruited corporation client manager. It should bein this way that the performance of a branch of commercial bank will be promotedonly by more productive management.This paper researches on performance assessment for corporation client managerof China CITIC Bank Changchun branch and analyzed the requirements ofcorporation client managers and indices of the current performance assessment. Thenthis paper comes to a conclusion that the current performance assessment has fourproblems, including the approach of indices and methods selected for performanceassessment, the fulfillment of yearly operating plan for the corporation clientmanagers, the effect training and spreading of performance assessment, theestablishment of motivation, etc. it also suggests that the historic and inherent reasonsshould be resulted.With the need of improving the current performance assessment according to theabove analysis, it suggests a new idea of constructing a system based on the method of BSC and KPI for the performance assessment after combing the plan from theexecutives. It divided all client managers into two kinds, ones with their owncustomer resources independently, ones lacking of social backgrounds. For the firstones, it sets up three levels for them, the lower one, the middle one and the higher one,and also the different performance assessment with indices weight respectively.Finally all data will be collected for the performance assessment unitedly, to whichthe income will be related, to make sure that this scheme is able to take into effect.In the final part of this paper, it proposes to set up to a performance assessmentleader group to monitor the process of performance assessment, and the working staffwill be appointed to undertake this job and accomplish the entire procedure, so that aresult will be presented.A performance assessment system is like a kind of useful petrol which willenable the machine to function well. A good performance assessment, which is suitedfor the present stage of a corporation, will benefit its development and motivateemployees to work actively. The more optimization it adopts, the more helpful acommercial bank will be benefitted. A performance assessment, adjusted with thetime flying and aimed at the specific stage of a commercial bank, will be thefoundation for a promising development. |
