In recent years,with the rapid economic development and the impact of COVID-19,the competitive environment between and within enterprises is constantly changing.Personnel factors play a key role in the process of enterprise development.How to have sufficient talent reserve,how to improve the professional quality of personnel,for a constantly developing enterprise is particularly important.Similarly,talent is also the most critical link in the development process of commercial banks,and the performance appraisal of personnel has become an important work of commercial banks.A good performance appraisal of commercial banks can not only improve the quality of personnel administration,but also improve the overall strength of commercial banks.A perfect personnel performance appraisal system can play a sufficient role in encouraging talents to improve their self-ability,and can also play an effective role in stimulating and restricting talents.China Citic Bank B Branch was established in 2017 and is now at a critical stage of transformation and development.Due to the influence of external environment,fierce competition within the financial industry and the limitation of market customer resources,B branch entered the local market at a relatively slow pace.Therefore,this paper takes B Branch of China Citic Bank as an example and,from the perspective of employee performance assessment management,proposes targeted optimization solutions by analyzing the current situation and existing problems of the bank’s employee performance assessment system,so as to enhance the bank’s internal core competitiveness,so as to cope with the pressure brought by the external environment.On the basis of domestic and foreign performance appraisal studies,this paper referred to and summarized a large number of excellent research results.Based on the research on personnel performance appraisal,this paper retrieved domestic and foreign literature related to this issue,and adopted the questionnaire survey method to obtain the effective data of B Branch.Taking the staff performance appraisal of B Branch as the research object,the method of literature research is adopted,empirical research method and other research methods,and follows the sequence of case analysis--problem analysis--improvement measures to carry out in-depth research on the staff performance appraisal of B Branch.This paper mainly includes five parts.The first part is the research purpose and significance of personnel performance appraisal,domestic and foreign research status,research ideas,research methods,etc.The second part defines the relevant concepts and expounds the situation and current situation of Citic B Branch.The third part is to analyze the problems existing in the performance appraisal system of B Branch,such as the basic concept of the performance appraisal system is not clear,the weight of the performance target is not allocated properly,the performance appraisal work is not communicated and feedback in time,and the performance appraisal results cannot be fully and effectively used.The fourth part is an indepth study of the causes of the problems of China Citic Bank Branch B,and design optimization and adjustment of the original staff performance appraisal system.The fifth part implements the guarantee on the staff performance appraisal system to realize the clarification of performance appraisal objectives and criteria,the scientific setting of target weights,the standardization of communication and feedback,and the correct use of appraisal results,etc.,which provides effective guarantee for the performance appraisal operation of the staff of China Citic Bank B Branch,so as to realize the scientific and accurate performance appraisal operation.
