With the rapid development of wireless communication technology,the traditional radio communication system which is completely dependent on hardware has been difficult to meet the needs of all walks of life.The software radio is proposed to solve this problem,which is a new type of radio communication system design idea.Since the software radio software can be easy to programmed,modify and low cost,it solves the difficult of depending on the hardware and raises the technology level of the wireless communication to a high level.This paper studies the design and application of a software radio platform based on high speed serial bus.At first,this paper introduces the background knowledge of the software radio technology and the research status at home and abroad,and then expounds the key technology and the basic principle used in the design and also the principle of the whole platform information collection and transmission.Secondly,it introduces the common high-speed serial bus protocol and its application in the software radio platform,and makes a detailed analysis and comparison of the RapidIO bus and PCI-E bus used in this platform.Finally,it analyses the DSP and FPGA chip used in the design detailedly.The main contents of this paper include the formulation of the plan,the selection of the chip,the design of hardware module,the design of the principle,the design of the PCB,the board of the system and the debugging of the board.this design scheme uses 14 bit AD9957 and LTC2158 conversion chip for data sampling,then transfers the signal sampled to the chip FPGA and DSP for processing and achieves the coordination of the entire system signal transceiver process in the peripheral device and interface circuit.
