Air-to-ground Mobile Communication Link Coverage And Antenna Design Research

In recent years,with the arrival of information age,people more and more high to the requirement of wireless communication technology,among them with mobile phone for the most typical representative of information age,modern people have completely inseparable from the mobile phone,even if a minutes.Therefore,the coverage of mobile phone coverage is increasingly important,especially in public.Now,in China,the aircraft is the place where the signal coverage is not perfect,so it is necessary to cover the aircraft now.In this paper,a systematic analysis of the air-to-ground mobile communication antenna is carried out in this paper,and then the whole link is analyzed to the local antenna design.Firstly,according to the special propagation and installation environment of ATG mobile communication,the system is divided into ground base station and aircraft mobile terminal.For the base station terminal,according to the characteristics of aircraft flight,the network coverage method is divided into full space coverage and route coverage according to the current fixed beam antenna with wide application.At the same time,because of each base station coverage area is larger,so the establishment of the base station USES the sector cover means,in sector covers the first theoretically the possibility of analysis of the theory in the form of antenna element.For the airborne mobile terminal,the network coverage discussion is carried out on the reference ground,and a certain analysis is made for its particularity.And considering the particularity of ATG system for mobile communications,and the development of the current base station antenna,choosing the most conforms to the current situation of ATG mobile communication antenna coverage scheme,for the antenna design.Then,the application of smart antenna in ATG mobile communication system is discussed.This article for ground-to-air mobile communication base station antenna,the antenna in the form of a reference to the ground communication base station,the plus or minus 45 degrees of dual polarization antenna,to achieve a single antenna ATG mobile coverage,and consider this set of array,achieve high gain,etc.For the airborne end,consider the aerodynamics of aircraft,as simple as possible and miniaturization,and also discusses the different installation position on the airborne antenna gain and the influence of the beam width,to choose the most appropriate location.At last,the beam width,gain and transmitting power of two antennas are used to verify the coverage scheme of the selected sectors.
