| Along with development of mobile communication system, the third generation mobile communication system has increasingly been perfected. On base station antenna, it is an important subcomponent for mobile communication systems. So 3G base station antenna technologies has been confirmed as one of key technologies of the third generation communication system, and will play an important role in the future.In this thesis, we studies four key problem of 3G base station array antenna for mobile communication, designed radiation units, array synthesis, feeding network and antenna measurements. Firstly, the arry units are designed and sovled the feed problem of dipole antenna by designing the balun . Secongly, array synthesis is designed and optimized by antenna measurements. The results are given and used in the design of arry antennas, which prove validated. Moreover, feeding network of array antennas is designed and realized by the primary and secondary power splitter. Lastly, based on the requirement of 3G base station antenna, the project of the far field measurement is designed. The 3G base station array antennas are tested and the results are proved eligible.In the project , we design two kinds of fixed beam base station array antennas of non- polarization and dual-polarization in the frequency range of 1.92GHz to 2. 17GHz.The 3G base station array antennas of eight units is tested and the results meets the radiation demands of 3G base-station antenna. |
