Substrate Integrated Waveguide(SIW)technology has attracted wide attention in recent years,and has become a hot research topic.It is low profile,low cost,lightweight,easy integration with planar circuit.In addition,compared with the traditional microstrip structure,it has lower insertion loss and less radiation leakage,so the SIW technology also are widely used in the design of slot array antenna to overcome the problems of traditional metal waveguide slot array such as processing cost,bulky and weight.This paper has studied SIW slot array design and measurement method,and designed a monopulse antenna and a dual frequency shared-aperture antenna.In additon,the paper investigated the planner near-field measurement principle,which is suitable for SIW array antenna measurement.The purpose of this paper is to provide technical support for SIW slot array antenna design and measurement.First,this paper studied the design method of SIW array antenna including design principle,the single slot characteristics,SIW antenna components and Elliott design method.Second,this paper studied SIW technology in monopulse antenna application,proposed an idea for realizing a compact monopulse comparator.With the same idea,we developed a Single-layer dual-frequency shared aperture slot antenna array,this antenna has two ports working at two different frequency while share the same radiation aperture,it can be used on CW Doppler radar system to reduce the system complexity and improve system performance.In additon,this paper studied the planner nearfield antenna measurement system which is a good candidate for SIW slot array antenna measurement,the content including near-field to far-field transformation method,probe correction technique and FFT etc.We have designed and realized a planner near-field system,an open end waveguide probe antenna and a horn antenna fabricated to validate the planner nearfield measurement theory mentioned in this paper.All the antennas and measurement system referred in this paper has been fabricated and validated,the content in this paper is a solid reference for real practice.
