As an outcome of modern microwave technology,radar has been widely used in distance and direction survey fields;weather radar is an important role at atmospheric sounding aspect as one of the professional braches of radar system.Doppler weather radar is widely used as weather radar these years;it has long detection range,wide detection range,accurate result and abundant late data etc.advantsges.Thus,the mobile weather radar based on Doppler Effect will be the effective method for atmospheric sounding,fixed test point gap filling and dealing with weather-related emergencies,and will be significance to the precipitation forecast,meteorological disaster forecast and soil and water conservation management etc.aspectsThe project is from Nanjing University and is designed by the Metstar Company,National Weather Service.mainly researched and desinged servo system of antenna system.The project requires the mobile weather radar can be set up fast on remote site,and keeps monitoring weather and sending signals to remote computer,keeps 7x24 hours working,adapt for working at remote site.This article first describes the indicators proposed by the user,and describes the environmental factors in detail,and then decomposes the indicators of antenna,waveguide,pedestal and servo etc.sub system.According to the consistent design principles,the indicators are decomposed into antennas,feeders,antenna bases,and servo subsystems,and the indicators of how each subsystem meets the requirements are designed.Because the design of the pedestal and the servo is more closely related,a more detailed description is given on this design.Other systems simply introduce the design process and results,and some sample displays are given.This thesis firstly introduced the design process of servo system,explained the design of system framework,working theory,primary module.In the design of ACU,we put ARM control box(Zhongqian technology company)as the core,build a platform for human-computer interaction,elaborates the connection and control of ARM box on the LCD,pedestal and servo,peripheral circuit,design of communication interface.In the design Antenna Control Unit(ACU)mainly composed by F040 microcontroller and circuit,the microcontroller type is Cygnal C8051F040,human interface is a touch screen LJD-eWin serial embedded PC.ACU accept manual input by hardware and software integration,so called antenna control.The control right will be handed to RDA monitor computer in Remote Controlmode,ACU main board receives RDA monitor command,realized antenna close loop control.And the limit switch and photoelectric isolation module construct safety protection circuit,and analyses motor,encoder and related electrical protection devices.After hardware introduction,the control software develont and using environment,explained operation interface.The servo commissioning process is introduced after software,include servo cabinet and antenna pedestal.The whole antenna system was tested and attaches test result,it proved that the mobile weather radar can be set up fast,accurate control,with high reliability.The research aim was realized,the servo system part is simple and in high mormance.
