Design And Implementation Of Outpatient Appointment And Registration System Of A Hospital In Shanxi Province

In China,due to the uneven distribution of medical and health resources,the non–equivalence of medical information between the hospital and the patient results in the difficulty and the expensiveness of seeing a doctor.With the deepening of public hospital reform,the major hospitals are beginning to implement the appointment of medical services.According to these three characteristics,namely,a new hospital,the relatively inadequate experience among doctors,the national policy inclined to the municipal hospital,as well as the big outpatient flow and the not high user experience among patients when they see a doctor,a top three hospital in Shanxi decided to develop appointment diagnosis and treatment system with the core of sub-time booking.The system contributes the patients to queuing to see a doctor,which can not only allow patients to equitably enjoy the hospital outpatient resources to alleviate the masses "difficult and expensive to see a doctor ",but also makes the hospital management more conveniently.This paper designs and realizes the appointment registration system of a top three hospital,and obtains a large number of real needs through communication with the first-line department and related management departments,analyzes the demand,design functions and realize the modularization function.First,Based on the management of the hospital and the status of the relevant departments,it can obtain the needs of the appointment registration system Based on the business needs,the business functions are divided into four parts.They are appointment management,doctor scheduling,report statistics,dictionary maintenance and system settings four categories.Secondly,it designs with the appointment registration system with B / S structure,and conducts the functional design by using of Sybase Power Designer12.5.And it designs the realization of the class and methods of booking management,doctor scheduling,report statistics,dictionary maintenance and other functions combined with technical architecture.In addition,it designs the database of the system by using the relational Database system SQLServer2008 design,designs data storage to store data,and analyses the relationship between the database and storage table.Finally,the paper integrates various modules to realize of the overall system functions,and then make a functional testing,and give a description of the realization of the function by making full use of the interface screenshots.The implementation of the appointment and registration system makes the hospital appointment registration information for unified management,which not only improve the hospital outpatient management level,but also provide the convenience to the patient to make an appointment,while expanding the hospital’s service scope,improve service quality and the competitiveness of the hospital.
