In recent years,the microwave millimeter wave technology has made great progress,especially in the microwave passive power splitting device which occupies a very important role,has played an important role in the field of phased array radars,antenna systems,and defense construction.The power divider is a microwave device that distributes and synthesizes power.In some systems that require high power,power divider are used,and the quality of the indicators directly affects the performance of the whole system.The indicators of the power divider mainly include: Input port reflection coefficient,output port isolation,phase consistency,insertion loss,and so on.The type of power divider can be mainly divided into two types,one is a microstrip structure,which has the advantages of low cost,small size,stable performance,and easier integration with active circuits.The other is the waveguide structure,with high power capacity,low loss,a wide bandwidth and other advantages,but the large size,is not conducive to integration is still a factor restricting its development.This article aims to study the content of the broadband multi-channel waveguide power divider.The ultimate goal is to design a power divider with superior performance.The main structure of this paper is as follows:First,introduce the research background,significance and development status of the power divider.At the end of the chapter,summarize the work arrangement structure of this paper.Second,some basic theoretical knowledge needed to study the power divider are introduced,including the characteristics of the power divider,odd-even mode analysis method,impedance matching loading,and ridge waveguide related knowledge.Third,do some research about the characteristics of various power sub-structures,summarize the advantages and disadvantages,identify the best structure,and innovate on this basis.Fourthly,based on the above research of the power divider,this paper proposes a new type of broadband multi-channel power divider with ridged waveguide output.Through structural innovation,we have designed a wide bandwidth and good resident capacity.Eight-way power divider with wave coefficient and easy adjustment.Fifth,Physical processing and related test experiments were performed on thedesigned power divider to analyze the problems encountered in the process of physical processing and testing,and summary was made.
