The quantity of motor vehicles is increasing rapidly in China,leading to the increasingly sharp contradiction between parking space and vehicles.The traditional parking lot is based on wire communication,it requires complex wiring and higher design cost.Thus the system managers and users not only can't visually check the occupancy of parking spaces for seeking free parking space,but also can't implement parking reservation and intelligent payment.In order to improve the parking space utilization and management level to realize long-distance control,we design an intelligent parking management system based on the technology of Internet of things.The STM32 embedded module and the CC2530 wireless communication module are used as the main control unit of the system,in addition the wireless transmission network between ZigBee and GPRS is built.The contents of this paper are organised as follows:(1)An intelligent Parking Management System based on Internet of things is designed.The system mainly includes four parts: terminal node,routing node,coordinator node and remote control terminal including the server and the client.The terminal node HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor collects the parking information at real time.In order to reduce the error in collection of Parking information,combination of temperature compensation circuit and median filtering is adopted.The collect information is uploaded to the routing node through the ZigBee wireless transmission network,then the message is stored and send to the coordinator by routing node.Finally the coordinator uploads the information to the server through the GPRS network,so the system realize information interaction.(2)The monitoring center and mobile client are developed,and the remote control and management are realized.Monitoring center accesses the database in the server and displays the parking space occupancy and vehicle information through a visual interface at real time,and can also export SQL Server database view history information.It is convenient for managers to manage the system intelligently.Drivers can see the remaining parking space through LED dot matrix displayed at the entrance of the parking lot.and also they can get the information of the parking lot accessing server through the Internet on the mobile client.Furthermore drivers complete the parking reservation in advance,and realize the function of intelligent payment.(3)A two-story simulation parking lot operation platform is designed.Each Parking space is divided into A,B two areas,and sensors on the top of two areas are respectively connected to terminal node 1 and 2.We has done a lot of communication experiments between nodes,finally given the system's effective communication distance by measuring the PER and RSSI values.The simulation results verify the good stability of the system,and illustrate the proposed system can realize the intelligent management of parking lot.
