Design and Implementation of FPGA of the Laser Channel Simulator based on Intensity Modulation is used to evaluate the performance of the system equipment under the condition of the highly dynamic environment.The Laser Channel Simulator receives information of the satellite orbit and the location of ground processor set by the user,then simulates the effects caused by the transmission channel,including the varying distance of stars which will both delay the up and down channel digital signals and cause Doppler effect.So it is possible to evaluate the accuracy of the estimated distance and speed given by the system equipment.As a result,research and implementation of the Laser simulator based on the intensity modulation is important in the engineering application and practice.The specific contents of this paper are summarized as follows:1.The principle and the implementation method of the Laser Channel Simulator based on the intensity modulation are studied.The detailed design which is suitable for the realization in engineering is given out.2.According to the requirements of digital signal processing,this paper implements dedicated digital signal processing circuit based on FPGA.After testing on the system,the accuracy of the system is verified and the system goal is achieved.
