Surface Movement Radar(SMR)is widely used in port monitoring system,ground traffic control system and other military and civilian fields.This paper is on the background of the application of Surface Movement Radar.The working principle,the signal system and the key factors of influencing the multi-target detection and tracking of SMR was reached.The performance of target detection and tracking of SMR was increased.Target detection may be disturbed by high power ground clutter and different distances-azimuth clutter cell change very dramatically when SMR is working,so that the traditional CFAR detection algorithm does not apply to the clutter.According to this question,to achieve rapid detection of small target and obtain a low false alarm rate and a higher probability of detection,this paper analyzed the influence of clutter map CFAR point technology and surface technology for target detection theoretically,and completed the performance comparison and the measured data processing of the clutter map CFAR algorithm.Due to the strong maneuverability of people and cars,and their track cross seriously,the SMR will tracking multiple targets.In the process of multiple targets tracking,the detection probability is low and the false alarm probability is high,on this condition,the paper completed the design and implementation of multi-target tracking algorithm,built data generation and multi-hypothesis tracking simulation platform and conducted a performance evaluation for the tracking results.
